Eureka’s former sheriff, Colin Ferguson, will be returning to Syfy, joining the fourth season of its series, Haven, for a season-long story arc.
Syfy is celebrating its 20th anniversary with a star-studded special that will premiere on December 10th. Stars from Alphas, Battlestar Galactica, Being Human, Caprica, Defiance, Eureka, Farscape, Haven, Lost Girl, Sanctuary, Stargate: SG1 and Warehouse 13 will be putting in appearance during the show.
I’ll admit that I’m typing this review through a cloud of tears that are fogging up my vision. But, fortunately, although I am sad to see Eureka go, I am happy that this series finale was the final gift that SyFy allowed the show’s creators, writers, cast and crew to give us. It really stands as a testament as to what made this show so wonderful.
Well, this is it, kids. The final episode of Eureka airs Monday night. I am entirely too sad, but looking forward to seeing how everything is wrapped up and grateful that a final episode had been granted by the powers-that-be at SyFy.
Last week’s Eureka was a doozy, wasn’t it? I mean, the whole evil Holly thing and then the bodies getting swapped and the weird mirror stuff popping up around town due to the smart dust was insane!
So how about last week’s Eureka? My biggest thought coming out of that is that Felicia Day should win an Emmy for her portrayal of Holly.
If you’ve been following Eureka, you’ve been heartbroken about the death of Dr. Holly Martin. Of course, her spirit has continued to exist as a digital soul. Unfortunately, Holly isn’t satisfied being a virtual being and asked Zane and Henry to help her create her a new synthetically-created body.
So who didn’t get a little teary-eyed when Jack and Allison tied the knot on the brink of death on last week’s Eureka? Of course, this relationship always has its bumps and I think the conversation about IQ they had on the submarine thing was foreshadowing to this week’s new episode.
