Doctor Who’s River Song Added to Arrow Cast
Alex Kingston, most recently known as Doctor River Song on Doctor Who (not to mention wife to the Doctor) has been cast to play Lauren’s Mom on <Arrow. Which means that us Whovians will finally get to see Captain Jack with River Song.

Yet another familiar face will be coming to the set of The CW’s Arrow. David Anders (Once Upon A Time, The Vampire Diaries) will be joining John Barrowman, Tahmoh Penikett and Seth Gabel on the series that seems to specialize in awesome guest stars.

Holy crap, Arrow! Are you trying to steal all the genre actors away and put them on your show? First, John Barrowman, then Tahmoh Penikett and now you’re adding Fringe’s Seth Gabel, too? I’m not sure I will be able to contain my fangirl squeals this time.

Arrow Gets Another Awesome Sci-Fi Actor
There must be something special about The CW’s Arrow. Granted, I really like the show, but it also has a slew of fantastic actors that keep jumping on-board the series. In addition to the wonderful John Barrowman and Tahmoh Penikett, it has now been announced that Farscape‘s Ben Browder will also be appearing soon on the show.
