This summer has its share of highly anticipated movies, many of which are based on comic books. One of these films, The Amazing Spiderman, has a lot of people wondering if it’s just too soon since the Sam Raimi take on the series, but judging from this new four-minute preview, I think this one will hold its own.
I’ve watched this trailer for the new J.J. Abrams television series Revolution and I’m fairly certain I’ve seen this show before. It doesn’t strike me as terribly original and yet it does seem rather intriguing (although there is a little overacting here that makes me cringe).
In spite of many many many poor digital decisions on SyFy’s part, they do occasionally offer up some good web series programming. From Mercury Men to this week’s pick Riese: Kingdom Falling, these series feature high quality acting, writing and directing.
It’s no secret that Fringe got a 5th and final season in large part due to fan demand, especially on social media. Well, now the cast of Fringe has put together a video thanking all of us for our support. How cool is that?
From the very first episode, I loved the concept of NBC’s Awake. It was a sort of Life On Mars, but seemed to dive into much more muddied waters. Never knowing what was real and what was not and trying to figure it all out was part of the adventure. And Jason Isaacs was compelling to watch as he trekked through that adventure with us.
Oh, Once Upon A Time, just when I think I have you all figured out, you go and pull a Lost on me, and make me realize that you’ve had bigger plans all along. Obviously, I’m referring to what I thought would be a predictable season finale that turned out not to be so easily figured out.
I have previously mentioned that The Vampire Diaries is one of my favorite guilty pleasures. I watch it every week and haven’t missed an episode yet. Let’s face it, the show is very similar to the original Dark Shadows series, right down to the vampires, witches and ghosts.
