It’s official. The first Sin City 2 photos have been released and we finally get a look at Joseph Gordon-Levitt in the film (which makes us happy).
Sin City 2: A Dame To Kill For is delayed until next fall, 2014. No reason has been given for the move, but it doesn’t bode well for the film’s success.
It’s nice to see more news coming in about Sin City 2: A Dame to Kill for. The project seemed dead in the water for so long, that I am extremely happy that it’s now rushing forward. Two more cast announcements have been announced, as of today.
In an inspired piece of casting news, it has been reported that Joseph Gordon-Levitt has been cast to play a role originally offered to Johnny Depp in Sin City 2: A Dame To Kill For. Gordon-Levitt will be one of the core characters to have an overlapping storyline in the film.
As previously reported, Sin City 2 is well into production now. But recently, it lost one of its key roles, that of Manute, a role created by the recently deceased Michael Clarke Duncan.
Remember that Sin City sequel we’re all excited about? The one that’s finally going to happen? Well, the news just got even better. Both Mickey Rourke and Rosario Dawson have been confirmed to be appearing in the new film, A Dame to Kill For.
It’s been a long road to get here, but the sequel to 2005’s Sin City is finally officially going to happen. Last week, co-directors Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller announced that production is set to begin on the second movie. It’s about time!
