Happy International Cat Day: Meet The Furry Bosses Of FanGirlConfessions.com

Today is a very important day because it’s the day the whole world celebrates the often mysterious, sometimes grumpy and always magical creature known as the cat. It’s no secret that felines run the Internet, and so it shouldn’t surprise anyone that FanGirlConfessions.com has its own host of furry executives running the show.

These five fabulous kitties are often the bosses behind the scenes, making sure that my fingers stay warm when typing and encouraging me to take breaks so that I don’t overdue it. So in honor of their own special day, here are the real bosses of FGC.

Karma

Karma

Karma is CEO of pretty much everything and she’s very well aware of it. All the other cats and staff basically worship her and often lick her forward as tribute if/when she deems it’s necessary. She is the queen of all she purveys, but never does her own dirty work: that’s what her furry and non-furry companions are for. She keeps her paws squeaky clean, but it’s likely that she’s the godfather behind the eventual takeover of the world by cats.

Maggie

Maggie

Maggie is a temperamental ball of fluff and it’s often difficult to stay in her good graces. She hates everyone and everything, except for her human and Karma, except when she’s mad at them. She has abandonment issues and gets depressed when she sees suitcases, and will often lie on the human’s shoes when she has to leave the house in hopes that the human won’t leave her. But she’s second in command, probably because the other cats in the house fear her temper.

Snug

Snug

Snug is normally happy-go-lucky, but she can still turn on a dime into a grumpy “I’m mad at the world” tortie like her sister Maggie. She’s in charge of judging everything the human does and often becomes vocal when others invade her space, particularly the bathroom, which is her private office. She loves laps, but only when the human is perfectly still: any moving around and she starts hissing her displeasure. Comfort is number one in Snug’s book.

Imp

Imp

Imp may only have three paws, but he often has a rowdy streak, living up to his Game of Thrones-inspired name. He’s also a perfect little gentleman, though, which means he often ends up getting picked on by the three girl cats in the house. He takes it all in stride, though, at least until people he doesn’t know comes into the house and he goes into hiding: most other humans believe he’s imaginary because they’ve never actually seen him.

Anders

Anders

Don’t let that sweet ginger face fool you: Anders is often a holy terror. But he’s a holy terror who is also extremely affectionate and cuddly, so he gets away with a lot of bad behavior. His current obsession is Q-Tips, which means that he spends a lot of time going through the trash in search of a dirty one. At two-years-old, he’s still technically a kitten and often acts like it. He also loves being the center of attention and often gets jealous when other cats get the spotlight.
