Sylvester McCoy announced as guest star in upcoming The Inspector Chronicles.
Going into Gallifrey One today, I knew it was going to be a big day: mostly because it was the day that the (Not) Inspector Spacetime panel would be held. And I’d already been told by the Inspector (Travis Richey) that there would be a huge, massive announcement. And there was: 7th Doctor and The Hobbit‘s Radagast himself, Sylvester McCoy will be guest starring in the next iteration of the series.
But wait, there’s more! Because so much more happened in that panel. (Not) Inspector Spacetime will officially be known now as The Inspector Chronicles.
But that still wasn’t the end of the announcements. Perhaps even bigger than the McCoy news (at least in my humble opinion) is that the next iteration of the series will not be a web series but a movie. That’s right, A FREAKIN’ MOVIE titled The Inspector Chronicles: Untitled Motion Picture About A Space Traveler Who Can Also Travel Through Time. If that doesn’t strike you as epic, WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?
So, you’re saying, how can I help make this happen (as you should be saying)? Well, you can go to the The Inspector Chronicles’ Indiegogo right now and help fund the project.
The thing is… that’s STILL not all. Comics writer and infamous Gallifrey One con-goer Tony Lee is going to be working on a comic book for The Inspector Chronicles. And for a donation of $900, you can be IN the comic book.
So what are you waiting for? Go to Indiegogo now. Be a part of and help fund this film.
(Sidenote: Richey joked about a huge Indiegogo donation including a chance to lick The Inspector’s face. However, later, he told me that they actually do want to make this happen… at least in the comic book).
