Once Upon A Time: A Walk Through Storybrooke
So I finally made it to Vancouver, after a day’s delay (seriously, I hate the Dallas airport). After just missing being on a flight with Jared Padalecki from Supernatural, I finally got into the city where almost every television show ever made is filmed. My first stop? Storybrooke from Once Upon A Time.
Unfortunately, the cast are not filming in the little town of Steveston, which serves as the background for Storybrooke, but the buildings are all there as it is an actual working town. Some of the buildings have their Storybrooke signs, but others are still easy to identify if you watch the series.
The first thing pointed out to me was the Cannery:
But what really got me to fangirling was seeing Mr. Gold’s Pawn shop:
Of course, the familiar site of the town library was awesome. Note: The clock tower seen on the series is CGI.
