So science fiction fans, what did you think of the premiere of Continuum this week? Did you like it? It’s everything we’ve all been waiting for, isn’t it? Cool technology and time travel – what’s not to like?
I will admit that the whole cop drama in the present timeline in last week’s episode of Continuum didn’t do much for me, but the interweaving storylines of Kiera meeting people who will shape the world to come manages to keep it interesting. I just hope we keep seeing scenes from the future world, as well as the present. And I think it would be pretty cool if the future world changes based on what Kiera does in the present.
But unfortunately, I think this is one of those timelines where it’s already happened and she’s just re-enacting it. I hate those. I like my time more wibbly-wobbly-timey wimey. But nonetheless, I still like Continuum and will keep watching. Even if it sucked (which it doesn’t), having science fiction back on television is too important. We have to let these t.v. executives know that we want to see more of this.
In this week’s all-new episode of Continuum, “Fast Times,” Kiera is trying to find the members of Liber8 before they do more damage in the present. But her cover is blown and her new partner, Carlos Fonnegra arrests her. See the clip below for a sneak peek.
