Tonight’s Episode of Haven Pulled

haven

Syfy has decided not to air tonight’s episode of Haven in light of events in Newtown, CT today. Syfy felt that the episode, which dealt with fictitious violence at a high school, would be inappropriate to air so soon after the tragedy.

“In light of today’s tragedy in Newtown, Connecticut, we have decided not to air it,” a representative for Syfy stated.  “At this time, no decision has been made as to when the episode will air.”

I personally spoke with several Haven cast members from the show today who all send their thoughts and condolences to those affected by this tragedy.

This happened with Buffy too I believe. It’s eery when RL and shows that written months ans months ago cross.

Yeah, it’s just a case of bad timing on all parts. I think they did make the right decision in pulling it for now, though.

Wonder if we will miss important mythology bits by skipping this episode altogether. Will we be confused when next week’s show airs?

I think we might see the episode at a later date. If I had to guess, I’d say they’re pushing the show back by a week so we’ll see it next week? At least that would make sense because they’re getting too close to the season finale to skip an episode and still have things make sense. Unless they fix it in editing.
