David Tennant Finally Confirmed for Doctor Who’s 50th Anniversary

Ooh! Ooh! Ooh! That’s the sound of millions of fan girls collectively squealing over the news that David Tennant has finally and officially been confirmed for the 50th anniversary of Doctor Who. It shouldn’t be a huge surprise, as he’s been teasing it all along, but now it’s OFFICIAL.

Bleeding Cool posted the following on their website:

“Yes. David Tennant will be back in time for the DOCTOR WHO anniversary. Be prepared to be surprised…”

Of course, this news isn’t as big as if we hear that Paul McGann and Tom Baker are returning (please? please?), but it’s still got this fangirl bouncing up and down.

Glad he’s coming back, but I hope Tom Baker doesn’t. I really think he’s the most overrated Doctor. Would love to see McGann or McCoy, though.

And here I thought I was the only Who fan who wasn’t nuts about Tom Baker. I’ve tried to go back and watch his episodes, but they didn’t do anything for me. I love both McGann and McCoy, too.
