Just reading the synopsis for the Tales of Discord comic makes me want to get it in my hands and read it ASAP. And I also happen to think the writer, Paul Salamoff, is a cool guy – he was one of those responsible for re-building the original TARDIS console and delivering it to Gallifrey One last year. from the 1996 Doctor Who film. If that’s not awesome, I don’t know what is.
Check out this story summary:
“After crash-landing on a distant planet, which leaves everyone onboard dead and dismembered, a member of a popular superhero team is reassembled and resurrected by the indigenous aliens with the useable body parts of the rest of his team (as well as the enemy). As he deals with the grief of losing his friends as well as his own identity, he must also come to terms with not just who, but what he is.”
I don’t know about you, but to me, that sounds like a pretty interesting read.
So how to get your hands on the Tales of Discord? Well, if you’re really interested, you should contribute to the official Kickstarter project. I, myself, am already a backer and I encourage the rest of you to hop on the bandwagon, too.
