So the web exploded when Bethesda announced The Elder Scrolls Online. I’m also assuming that we’re going to see a lot more by the time this year’s E3 Expo rolls around. However, we already have a few screenshots and a trailer to make us crazy.
And the best part? Bethesda is promising this to us in a year! Just one measly little year. If that happens, that will be just enough time for me to get tired of playing The Secret World (although I have my doubts).
So are you looking forward to TES Online? My only concern is that it’s going to be yet another grinding game like WoW – that would suck. What makes Skyrim, for example, so awesome is the ability to roam alone in the world and be the hero. In an MMO, though, EVERYONE is a hero. So how will that play out?
Maybe I don’t care, though. As long as I still get to take down dragons.
First up, some game details, thanks to Game Informer. Confirmed locations include Imperial City, Windhelm and Dagger Fall. But other locations include the Summerset Isle and Elseweyr. The big villain of the game is the Daedric Lord Molag Bal, who happens to be the father of the vampires.
