Over the holidays, the always wonderful Christopher Lee posted a video message on YouTube where he discusses a variety of things, one of those being his hoping to live to see his work in The Hobbit as Saruman.
The nearly 90-year-old actor confirms that he has completed his part of filming for The Hobbit. He also admits that his older age means that he can only take smaller parts in films where he spends less time shooting.
For those familiar with the books, you’ll know that the evil Saruman we know from the Lord of the Rings trilogy is actually a good guy, the head of the council of wizards, in The Hobbit.
That silly ring just went and corrupted everyone, didn’t it?
